COMPANY FOLDER

Recently, the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (“BKPM”), has issued a circular letter No: 252.A.8/2014 (“Circular Letter”), which obliges all existing capital investment companies in the form of a legal entity company in Indonesia (“Company”) to register itself in the SPIPISE (Sistem Pelayanan Informasi dan Perizinan Investasi Secara Elektronik/Electronic Information and Investment License Service System), starting from 1 September 2014 until 30 September 2014.

Upon the registration, each of the Company will obtain a username and password from the BKPM to enable any access to the SPIPISE.

Each of the Company shall upload its documents by online in a “Company Folder”. The Company Folder will serve as the database of the Company’s documents in the SPIPISE BKPM.

The issuance of the Circular Letter is because all of the applications to the BKPM concerning any existing Company, holding a principal license or permit issued by the BKPM, are intended to be submitted through online system.

It is essential to note that as from 1 October 2014, BKPM will not receive any application of a Company that has not registered itself and that has not created the Company Folder.
